Earth Journalism Network offers conference fellowship

Working journalists, especially from developing countries and indigenous peoples, are invited to apply for this program.

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN), in partnership with the Arcadia Foundation and the Full Circle Fund of RSF Social Finance, is accepting candidates for the EJN media fellowships to the IUCN World Conservation Congress. The conference will take place Sept. 2 to 5 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Participants will also attend a daylong workshop on Sept. 1 learning about biodiversity issues and conservation solutions, as well as receiving tips for reporting on these topics and navigating the World Conservation Congress.

The fellowship covers travel expenses and lodging.

Applicants must have a record reporting on scientific and/or environmental topics, be fluent in English and agree to produce stories for their home media organization as a result from attending the conference.

The deadline is April 30.
