Documentary festival seeks entries

Documentarians can submit their works completed in 2014 to an international film festival.

Germany’s Dok.fest aims to bring the newest and most interesting documentary films from across the world to Munich. The event will take place May 7 to 17, 2015.

Films must be at least 52 minutes long. For the Dok.Education section, films must be 20 to 30 minutes in length. If the original language of the film is not German, English, French or Spanish, the film must include German or English subtitles.

The deadline to submit a film is Dec. 18. There is a EUR35 (US$50) fee. Submissions from developing and emerging countries and for DOK.education are exempt from the fee. The winners will receive cash prizes.
