Earth Journalism Network launches Climate Communications Innovation Fund

Media outlets, networks and associations that need additional funding to pursue innovative or experimental approaches can submit a project. Individuals and new ventures are also eligible.

The Earth Journalism Network is accepting entries for the Climate Communications Innovation Fund. The program aims to support the development, adaptation and introduction of novel storytelling methods focused on the human dimensions of climate change.

Five projects will each receive about US$10,000 in funding.

The projects are expected to take place within less than a year. Projects that can show results before the start of the COP21 Climate Summit in December will receive particular interest.

The deadline is June 15.
