Film4Climate competition open

Filmmakers ages 14 to 35 are invited to create a short video about climate actions and solutions.

The Film4Climate Global Video Competition, launched by the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate partnership program, aims to showcase what people around the world are doing to solve the climate challenge.

The contest has two categories: Public Service Announcement (PSA), less than 1 minute in length, and short film, between 1 to 5 minutes long. Videos may be in any language, but English subtitles are highly encouraged. Entries must explain how the climate message connects with the other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The first, second and third place winners will receive US$8,000, US$5,000 and US$2,000 in each category. There are also special prizes, including People’s Choice Award, MENA Award, Presenting Partner Prize and Price on Carbon Pollution Award.

The deadline is Sept. 15.
