ICFJ seeks program managers

Professionals with at least two years of experience in media, international development and/or project management may apply for these positions in Washington.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is hiring two program managers for its Knight International Journalism Fellowship.

The program manager for Africa will play an important role to help lead the implementation of a new three-year program in Africa to catalyze news media to deliver ongoing, high-quality health and development news. This program is jointly run by ICFJ and Code for Africa (CfAfrica), an open data initiative created by Knight Fellow Justin Arenstein. Expertise in Sub-Saharan Africa/Global South is preferred.

The other program manager position will help oversee Knight Fellows leading projects designed to instill a culture of news innovation and experimentation in Eastern Europe, Latin America, South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Proficiency in at least one major language of regions in which fellows work is beneficial, particularly Spanish.

The deadline to apply is March 23.
