Immigration Journalism Award
The French-American Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our third annual Immigration Journalism Prize for best immigration reporting. This award is the first of its kind to honor excellence in the coverage of immigration worldwide. This year, it is made possible by the support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Fondation TF1 and Air France.
The French American Foundation will present two cash awards for best immigration reporting published in the United States and in France at a ceremony and panel discussion in New York on the night of December 9, 2014.
The award is open to experienced journalists of any nationality. The work submitted for consideration must be in English or French and must have been published in 2014, in a U.S. or French media. All types of stories will be considered (business, cultural, international, etc.) and the French-American Foundation and its jury will pay special attention to visionary, high-impact stories with the potential to advance the debate on immigration.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, November 13 at 11:59 PM EST.
