UNESCO hosts video contest

Youth-led video production companies and freelance videographers ages 22 to 27 with two years of experience can apply.

UNESCO is looking for young videographers to film the ninth UNESCO Youth Forum Oct. 26 to 28 in Paris. The event will bring together more than 500 young women and men from all over the world to focus on issues related to sustainable development and global citizenship.

Applicants must submit a two-to-three-minute video on „Young people changing the world.” At least one videographer per world region will be selected to form the Youth Forum video-production team and will be tasked with preparing video content for diffusion on UNESCO’s website and social media channels.

UNESCO will cover travel and accommodation. The selected videographers must provide their own equipment.

The deadline is Aug. 31.
