Webinar focuses on how to speed digital transformation in newsrooms

Newsroom leaders, digital editors, publishers and journalism educators are invited to this webinar.

The Knight Digital Media Center and the Journal Media Group are hosting a webinar to talk about the process they developed to speed digital transformation in 13 newsrooms and the factors that played in their success.

The webinar „Digital Leads: 10 Keys to Newsroom Transformation” will be held at 2 p.m. EDT on Oct. 6. The instructors are Michele McLellan, senior program consultant for the Knight Digital Media Center, and Mizell Stewart III, managing director/content for the Journal Media Group.

Participants will learn the critical role that top leadership plays in fostering staff ownership of change; how to use research to create more consumer-connected newsrooms; and why mindset, as much as skill set, are critical to newsroom transformation.
