Deadline approaching: journalism fellowships
Journalists in the European Union can apply for a fellowship.
The Nico Colchester Journalism Fellowship aims to foster better understanding of the European Union.
Two awards are available this year: one British or Irish applicant will receive a fellowship in continental Europe at the Financial Times and one applicant from elsewhere in the European Union will be in London at The Economist. Both winners receive GBP6,000 to cover accommodation and travel.
Applicants must submit an 850-word article answering the question: “Will Donald Trump make or break Europe?”
This fellowship was established in memory of Nico Colchester, who wrote for the Financial Times, The Economist and The Economist Intelligence Unit about foreign, especially European, affairs as well as technology and business.
The deadline is March 31.
