Environmental photographers can apply for this contest.
The Tyumen House of Photo and Multimedia, under the patronage of the International Federation of Photo Art (FIAP) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA), is organizing the WorldEcoPhoto contest.
The contest seeks entries that not only reflect the beauty of nature but raise awareness about issues related to ecology and environmental protection as well as conservation of rare and endangered species.
There are six categories, including nature, open Siberia, the pain of planet Earth, black or white and color photography.
Prizes include diplomas, trophies and an expedition to the Arctic for two people.
Entry fees range from EUR10 (US$12.27) to EUR35 (US42.93), depending on the number of categories chosen.
The deadline is April 9.
