The site https://cji.ro uses cookies.

This document has the purpose to inform you about the way that we manage cookies on our site.

What are cookies?

An “Internet Cookie” (also known as a “browser cookie”, “HTTP cookie” or “cookie”) is a file of small dimensions (a series of numbers and letters), which is sent by a web server to a web browser. It is stored on the device that is used to access the internet. Placed cookies have a determined lifespan and do not access any information on the hard drive of the user’s device.

The cookie has two distinct elements: the cookie’s name and its value (the content of the cookie).

Technically, only the web server that placed the cookie can access it again at the moment when the user returns to the website or page hosted by the said server.

The life span of cookies

There are two main categories of cookies, the session cookies and the persistent cookies. Session cookies are created temporarily in the subfolder of your browser while you visit a certain website and they disappear once you close that website tab. Persistent cookies are stored in the subfolder of your browser and are reactivated when you return to a website you previously visited. These cookies are stored for a predetermined period of time, depending on the function of the cookie. Cookies can be deleted at any time by the user by accessing the settings of the browser.
