The project aims to document and analyze in depth the topic of violence against women in Romania and, at the same time, to define and promote a model of good practices in approaching this topic by journalists. The press materials follow the “solution journalism” model, focusing on identifying the causes of the problem, the systemic gaps that allow the proliferation of such acts and the presentation of possible solutions.
The thematic file on violence against women includes: reports, investigations, legislation and case studies, testimonials, interviews etc.
The project is developed together with local journalists, coordinated by Vlad Stoicescu, journalist for Dela0.ro, as editor. Dela0 will also publish all the materials created within the project.
The journalistic products will be available free of charge for other interested newsrooms, in order to increase their dissemination at local level.
