The European Commission wishes to encourage journalism students to learn about the EU.
After 2 successful editions, the European Commission is launching a third edition of Youth4Regions – the programme for aspiring journalists: journalism students from across the European Union are invited to send a short article (400-1000 words) or a short video (2 – 3 minutes) depicting a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund or Cohesion Fund.
All winners will be invited to Brussels between 6 – 11 October 2019 for a week of training in EU policy and journalism, mentorship, working side by side with established journalists and networking in the EU institutions and European media.
The European Commission will cover travel and accommodation.
Upon completion of the programme the participants become part of the Youth4Regions Alumni, a pan-European network of future journalists interested in EU affairs.

Deadline for submitting applications: 15 July 2019 at 17:00 (Brussels time)
